Personality Plus ... Sweet Corky the Blind Pug is Waiting for his Forever Home ... Can You Help?
Sweet, charming special needs doglet needs a special home. Corky is blind, though he doesn't know it or act it. He's a great little guy, very well adjusted. He just needs a forever home. Can you help?
Hi! I’m Corky, and I love to cuddle! My foster mom has taught me how to walk on a leash, potty outside, and come when she calls me. I love my leash, because it lets me keep track of my Foster Mom when we’re in unfamiliar places. They tell me I’m “blind,” but I don’t know what that means. I get around just fine as long as the furniture doesn’t move around and surprise me.
Nope, my eyes don't require any treatment. I'm a fine, healthy boy, between 5 and 7 years of age and had my teeth cared for in December, so really, I'm good to go. Oh, yeah, I was rescued from a hoarding situation in Tennessee, but I don't have any hangups; I’m just a happy go lucky fella!
I’m trying to sniff out my forever home, so let me tell you about myself. I like walks, and cuddles, and rolling in the grass, and did I mention cuddles? Foster Mom says my Dream Home would be with an active retired couple, but I can fit in and be happy with any family that wants a quiet, cuddly dog who likes to be around people. I get on well with other dogs, and I don’t bother cats. Foster Mom says No Toddlers, because they can’t help doing things that confuse me. Older kids are okay, though.
I am neutered and up-to-date on shots. I’m also house-trained.I’m a Pug/Chihuahua/Cocker Spaniel mix (my temperament most similar to Pug). I am 14 pounds with a short coat.
