Softball, Spaghetti, Oldies Night and 3rd Graders Foresee the Future

Here's what coming up Tuesday and Wednesday for the Danvers Family Festival.

There are several activities and events scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday for the Danvers Family Festival. Check out what's planned below:

Tuesday


The annual Kiwanis versus Rotary softball game 
is scheduled for Tuesday (6 p.m.) at John George Park. Stop down and cheer on your favorite organization or team. Contact Frank Herschele at 978-777-8274 for more details.

The annual book sale held by the Friends of the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers continues this week and runs through July 6. There will be used books, videos, books on tape, CDs and more. Proceeds go toward the museum pass program, performances and other projects at the library.

Wednesday


Spaghetti with the Boy Scouts
 is Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. The Boy Scouts of America Troop 16 will hold their annual supper at Maple Street Congregational Church. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $15 per family, $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and children. Check out the menu here.

Third-graders foresee the future...for free. Stop by Tapley Memorial Hall on Page Street to see what Danvers students chose as important family artifacts they might donate to the Danvers Historical Society 50 years from now. The open house is 4-6 p.m. and admission is free.

Oldies Night is back in Danvers Square. The musical street fair is held in the square from 6-9 p.m. There will be music and dancing, food, raffles and more. Some tables and chairs will be available, but bring your own too. The square will be blocked off to traffic during that time.
