PEABODY, MA — September 30, 2026 — Get ready for lights, sirens and plenty of smiles as SadieLadySecrets.com and best-selling children’s author Stephanie Chiulli-Guillemette bring Sadie Lady’s Lights, Sirens & Smiles Craft Fair & Family Day to Community Covenant Church in Peabody on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Lights, Sirens & Smiles was created to give children an opportunity to interact with some of the heroes who serve their communities in a welcoming and family-friendly setting. The event will feature more than 20 vendors, visits with police officers and firefighters, children’s activities, face painting, music, food, special characters, shopping and much more.

Sadie Lady, Chase & Skye Join the Adventure

The star behind the Sadie Lady adventures will be joining the fun, too! Families will have an opportunity for a special visit with Sadie Lady during the event.Young PAW Patrol fans will also want to have their cameras ready as Chase and Skye will make a special appearance from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., giving children an opportunity to meet two of their favorite characters and take photos.

The character appearances add to a day designed around creating memorable experiences for children while introducing them to themes of service, courage, kindness and community.

Special Raffles With Some Incredible Prizes

Guests will also have plenty of opportunities to enter to win throughout the day. Featured raffles include:

• Boston History Bar Crawl
• Family pack of tickets to Old Sturbridge Village
• Two tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera at North Shore Music Theatre
• 50/50 raffle
• Raffle prizes donated by participating vendors

Every raffle ticket helps add another element of fun to the day while supporting the event’s fundraising mission.

Grab Some Pizza and Give Back

Families can come hungry, too! A special food table will offer a pizza meal package in exchange for a donation, giving guests another simple way to enjoy lunch with their families while contributing to the causes being supported through the event. Additional food and treats will also be available during the day, making it easy for families to stay, explore and enjoy everything Lights, Sirens & Smiles has to offer.

Giving Back to Those Who Serve

At the heart of Lights, Sirens & Smiles is a commitment to giving back. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the event will benefit Thin Blue Ride and the Pan-Mass Challenge.

Thin Blue Ride is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support to active military personnel and first responders facing cancer. Through fundraising, awareness and community involvement, the organization works to help alleviate some of the burdens faced by these individuals and their families during their cancer journeys.

The organization has particularly meaningful roots in both law enforcement and the fight against cancer. Co-founder Jonathan “JD” Daige is an Army veteran and police officer who battled cancer himself. Thin Blue Ride grew from his experience, including participation in the Pan-Mass Challenge, and his desire to pay forward the support he received during his own fight.

The first-responder theme also connects closely with the Sadie Lady children’s book series, including stories that introduce young readers to firefighters, police officers, safety, courage, service and helping others.
