Commuter Rail Service Between Lynn and Boston Suspended June 6 and 7

Shuttle Buses Available from Lynn to the MBTA Wonderland Subway Station

Due to construction activity this weekend, the Newburyport/Rockport Line will suspend train service between Lynn and North Station on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7.

Inbound Newburyport/Rockport Line trips will be replaced with shuttle buses from Lynn to the MBTA Wonderland subway station for connections to the Blue Line and service into Boston.

Passengers desiring outbound Newburyport/Rockport Line Service from Boston must take the Blue Line to the MBTA Wonderland subway station where their trip will be replaced with shuttle buses to Lynn. There will be no direct service to or from North Station.

Customers are encouraged to allow approximately 45 minutes of travel time from Boston to Lynn utilizing alternative transportation. Outbound trains will depart at their scheduled times. Passengers seeking bus connections to Lynn should arrive at Wonderland no later than 15 minutes prior to a train’s scheduled departure time from Lynn. Bikes will not be allowed on the buses between the MBTA Wonderland subway station and Lynn in either direction.
