Copper Wires Stolen at Danvers Electric

The following excerpts are from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from July 22-23.
Monday, July 22
- 5:55 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident involving personal injuries on Route 114.
- 8:27 p.m. Police responded to a report of drug activity -- allegedly heroin -- at a Water Street apartment, but said the call turned out to be unfounded.
- 9:24 p.m. Report of a break-in to a car at the Liberty Tree Mall.
Tuesday, July 23
- 7:12 a.m. Report of malicious damage to a car on Old Burley Street. Police said the vehicle was egged.
- 9:36 a.m. Jose Pineda, 33, of Chelsea, was arrested, following a well being check at Motel 6. Police said there was a young boy who was left by himself. The exact charge against Pineda was not specified in the initial log entry.
- 10:45 a.m. Report of a larceny at Danvers Electric. Police said copper wires were stolen.
- 12 p.m. A Trask Street resident reported being threatened on Facebook.
- 1:05 p.m. A caller on Liberty Street reported hearing a possible gunshot. Police said the call was unfounded.
- 3:39 p.m. Report of suspicious activity outside Bed, Bath & Beyond. A caller said a person was rummaging through a Dumpster.
- Around 9 p.m., a toddler reportedly fell at Chuck E. Cheese's on Endicott Street and was bleeding from the head. The child was transported to North Shore Children's Hospital, but did not suffer a serious injury, according to firefighters at the scene.
