Danvers Declares Snow Emergency Parking Ban For Tuesday Night
After more than 3 feet of snow has draped the town in recent weeks, the parking ban is in effect with up to 4 inches possible on Tuesday.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents will once again have to move their vehicles from public town streets on Tuesday night, with predictions of 2 to 4 inches expected as part of the latest storm.
The parking ban will go into effect at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The declaration comes on the heels of two major snowstorms in recent weeks that have left streets narrowed with little place to put additional snow.

"Additional snowfall is expected, and with snow already on the ground, this parking ban is necessary to support effective snow removal operations and to maintain safe, passable, and properly widened streets," the Danvers DPW said.
