Danvers Earns Spot in Division 3 Title Game

The Falcons boys basketball team snuck past Martha's Vineyard, 50-47, on Tuesday to snag a spot in Saturday's championship game.

The Danvers High School boys basketball team won't have to wake up from its dream season for one more game.

Thanks to a thrilling 50-47 win over Martha's Vineyard in the Division 3 state semifinal on Tuesday at TD Garden, the Falcons will take on Smith Academy at the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday in hopes of bringing home a state title.

"This is unbelievable," said head coach. I've only been a head coach for three years, but these are the toughest kids I've seen. They just don't compare. They're tough, tough kids."
