Danvers Extends School Superintendent's Contract
Superintendent Lisa Dana also got a raise of three percent, or $5,430, bumping her annual pay to $186,430.

DANVERS, MA -- The Danvers School Committee unanimously approved a $5,430, or three percent, raise for Superintendent Lisa Dana. The raise brings her annual compensation to $186,430. The committee also approved a one-year contract extension for Dana, who has led Danvers Public Schools for 16 years.
According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, the committee praised Dana for a variety initiatives, including her work on math program at Holten Richmond Middle School. "It’s not easy to find a really good superintendent who is going to stay with you for the long term, which Lisa has done," committee member Eric Crane said.
