Danvers High Graduates 243 in the Class of 2013

The weather turned out bright and sunny for the Class of 2013 on Saturday afternoon as they graduated from Danvers High School.

Two hundred forty-three seniors in the Danvers High School Class of 2013 received their diplomas on Saturday out on Dr. Deering Field.

This year's class officers were: President Megan Sutherland, Vice-President Ashley DiScuillo, Secretary Katherine Lantych and Treasurer Laila Najia. The senior essayist was Emma Weir with Emily Scottsgale as salutatorian and Jessica Lewis as valedictorian.

In addition to Superintendent Dr. Lisa Dana and Assistant Superintendent and DHS Principal Susan Ambrozavitch offering remarks, the featured speaker for the day was DHS teacher Heather Carnevale.
