Danvers High Recognized For Advanced Placement Program Success
Danvers High School had 226 students participate and take one or more exams during the past school year.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers High School was recognized for its participation and student success in advanced placement courses with the College Board naming the school to its AP program Honor rRll.
The College Board said schools earn this recognition annually based on a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.
"It takes a coordinated effort from students, teachers, counselors, administrators and parents to make AP access a priority," first-year Superintendent Dan Bauer said. "We are very pleased to receive this recognition."

"This designation is a tribute to the emphasis that our teachers and counselors place on the advantages for students to take AP courses and the exams," Danvers High Principal Adam Federico. "It gives students the opportunity to earn college credits and enhances their chances of gaining admission to the schools of their choice.”
College Board’s AP program enables students to pursue college-level studies — with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both — while still in high school.
