Danvers To Honor Heroes, Recognize Sacrifices 1 Year Into COVID
The town is planning a series of events and salutes March 15-19 to respect hardships and point to a brighter future.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers will honor the sacrifices, perseverance and loss of the past year, as well as look forward to the hope of a brighter future, during a week of events and remembrances next month.
The town said "COVID: One Year Later" will include a community illumination, recognition of COVID pandemic "superheroes" and a tribute to those lost since the start of the coroanvirus health crisis in March 2020.
The week is also designed to "energize our hope for the future."

The events will run March 15 through March 19 with a town report from Danvers Town Manager Steve Bartha.
The town said event details will be released over the next week.

"Show support for the effort and sacrifices our community members have made to support each other," the town said.
