Danvers To Host Strategic Plan Community Forum
The Strategic Danvers forum will include a presentation and seek input about the vision for the town in 2030.

DANVERS, MA — The future of Danvers will likely look significantly different than its recent past as the town experiences population, demographic and development shifts over the next 10 years.
The goal of Strategic Danvers is to develop a plan to help navigate that period that officials said offers both opportunities and challenges.
The outline for the town's first strategic plan was presented this fall and will include several chances for resident and stakeholder input. One of those will be on Jan. 19 at the Holten Richmond School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Topics discussed will include growth and development, quality of life, municipal services and finances, and economic diversity. The objective is to identify opportunities and priorities, discuss tradeoffs needed to help achieve that vision, and translate the priorities into an action plan that guides municipal decision-making.
