Major discount department store making Mass. debut

Ross will open three stores in the Bay State by next spring, a company spokesperson told Patch. The retailer, best known as one of the largest off-price retail chains in the U.S., will debut locations in Danvers, West Springfield and Chicopee.

Popular wellness brand to open sixth Mass. store

ALO announced it will debut at Legacy Place in Dedham in late 2026. The company is best known for its high-performance clothing for movement and recovery, ALO says.

Ten restaurants opening in Mass. this fall

From food chains making their debut to brand-new food concepts popping up, many new businesses are preparing to open their doors in Massachusetts before the end of the year.

New sports bar, movie theater debut at Patriot Place

Patriot Place continues to add restaurants, bars and entertainment destinations to its roster. Phoenix Theatres and Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille are among the newest additions to the complex.

Mass Appeal took over the former Wormtown Brewery taproom. The 3,325-square-foot space now includes an expanded kitchen, a redesigned bar with indoor and outdoor seating and a 16-tap tower.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Theatres officially opened its flagship Patriot Place location on July 1 after renovating the movie theater complex.

Popular Mexican eatery debuts first Mass. location

Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar has opened its first Massachusetts location at the Burlington Mall, bringing the Mexican restaurant chain to the Bay State for the first time.

New wine bar, restaurant opens in Boston

Marzae Cellar + Provisions began its soft-opening phase at the end of July in the Boston Public Market's largest retail space.

Full operations, including a draft wine program and expanded evening dining service, are expected by mid-to-late August, while brunch is planned for the fall.
