Complaint of Trucks Blowing Air Horns and Obama Protesters

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from June 27-28.

Thursday, June 27

  • 11:57 a.m. Report of a larceny at a Kenmore Drive home. Police said a backpack blower was stolen.
  • 12:07 p.m. Report of malicious damage at Endicott Park. No further details were available.
  • 7:10 p.m. A caller reported suspicious activity and possible gunshots in the area of Hogan Regional Center. Police searched the area, but didn't find anything.
  • 8:51 p.m. A caller complained about two trucks blowing their air horns on Endicott Street near the mall.

Friday, June 28

  • 12:20 a.m. Report of two intoxicated males at the McDonald's on Route 114.
  • 5 a.m. Report of a tree down at the corner of Locust and Wenham streets.
  • 7:59 a.m. Report of a stolen motor vehicle at Motel 6.
  • 11:09 a.m. Report of people disturbing the peace near the Bank of America on Elm Street. Police said they were "Obama protesters."
