Danvers Resident Named Chief Financial Officer at MP
Stephen A. Johnson Expands Role at Beverly-Based Company

MP, a human capital management (HCM) company focused on transforming the employer-employee relationship and experience, has named Stephen Johnson, CPA, as its Chief Financial Officer. Johnson, who is owner and principal of Naumkeag CFO Services LLC., has been providing financial oversight to MP since 2015.
In his expanded role, Johnson will be responsible for all financial and administration processes and controls as MP continues to scale and grow.
“Steve has been an integral part of MP’s growth for many years,” said Jason Maxwell, Founder and CEO of MP. “Having him officially join the company as Chief Financial Officer will strengthen our leadership team. It will allow us to continue to grow and expand, so we can support our customers to the best of our ability.”

Johnson has nearly forty years of financial leadership experience, including twenty-five years as a CFO. Prior to founding Naumkeag CFO Services, he served in the CFO role at Punchey, Vantage Deluxe Travel Services, Tervela, Managesoft, and Centra Software.

Johnson, who resides in Danvers, received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Babson College.
