Danvers State Tournament Update
Here's how teams from Danvers High and St. John's Prep are doing in postseason play.

The Danvers High softball team, with a 19-1 record in the Division II North bracket, won a bye in the first round and will be playing Tewksbury Saturday (4 p.m.) in a quarter final game at home at the Great Oak School.
The Falcons baseball club shut out Division II foe Tewksbury Friday night at Plains Park, 5-0, in a first round game, which means Danvers will face the winner Monday (4 p.m.) of Saturday's New Mission/Reading game.
St. John's Prep baseball hosts Malden Saturday (4 p.m.) in a first round game in Division I North.

The Prep's lacrosse team will play Andover in the first round of the sectionals on Saturday (5 p.m.) at the Prep.
In team tennis, the Danvers boys lost to Burlington in the first round Friday, 4-1, and the girls were swept by Wayland, 5-0, in a preliminary round match.
