Danvers Water Main Break Hits Garden Street Neighborhood

The Danvers Department of Public Works said those in the area may experience temporary loss of water on Monday.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents in the area of Garden Street may have a loss of water or water discoloration on Monday after the latest water main break in the same neighborhood.

The Danvers Department of Public Works said late Monday morning that crews were working on the restoration of water services to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Danvers DPW requested patience from residents while asking anyone with questions to contact them at 978-777-0001 Ext. 3011.

This was the second water main break in the same area in the past week after Danvers DPW reported a "major" water main break on Garden Street, and ensuing water discoloration possibilities, last Sunday and Monday.
