DanversCARES presented its 2020 awards at its recent annual meeting to four deserving individuals and organizations. Katherine Bahret received the Outstanding Youth Leadership Award for her work on the DanversCARES middle school youth leadership board. Gabrielle Capone received the Outstanding Youth Leadership Award for her work on the DanversCARES high school youth leadership board. Fran Weil received the Outstanding Volunteer Partner Award for her leadership in bringing therapy dogs to the high school and middle school to help reduce stress during mid-term exams. Danvers Community Access Television (DCAT) was named Outstanding Community Partner for hosting teens as part of the summer jobs program each year and for promoting DanversCARES programming and events.
