DanversCARES Hosts Bullying and Cyber Bullying Solutions

A Two-Day Workshop For Educators

DanversCARES and the Danvers Public Schools present “Bullying & Cyber Bullying Solutions” with authors and nationally certified trainers, Robin D’Antona, Ed.D and Michael R. Carpenter, Ph.D. This two-day workshop will take place on January 28 & 29, 2016 at Danvers High School. Day One will be focused on Prevention Skills such as addressing school climate, preventing cyberbullying and misuse of social media, empowering bystander behavior, and Awareness Plan: procedure and implementation. Day Two will focus on Intervention Skills, including: best practices for intervention, how staff and parents can work together, positive social norming and future trends. Registration is $395 ($425 after 1/13/16) and includes continental breakfast, lunch, books, posters, and handouts. Attendees will receive 12 hours of professional development credit.
