DanversCARES Presents 'In Plain Sight" at Danvers Police Station
In Plain Sight teaches you to look at your teen's room through a new lens.

Danvers, Mass. (November 4, 2017) – Did you miss the chance to view the In Plain Sight exhibit at Parents University held on November 4th? You are in luck. In partnerships with the Danvers Police, Danvers Public Health Departments, and Lahey Health Behavioral Services, DanversCARES presents In Plain Sight in the community room of the Danvers Police Station on Thursday, November 9th and Friday, November 10th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
In Plain Sight teaches you to look at your teen’s room through a new lens. Tour a teen bedroom and learn about the hidden signs of substance use, self-harm, eating disorders, risky social media behavior and more. This event is offered multiple times due to popularity among parents and community members. Pick the date that is convenient for you and be sure to bring a friend.
The event at the Police Station is an open house format for ADULTS to explore all of the ways risky teen behaviors can be hidden in plain sight by walking through an interactive, informative display. School resource officers, mental health professionals, a public health nurse, and DanversCARES prevention staff will be on site to answer questions and discuss tips for parents and caregivers to help keep kids healthy and safe.
