Drug Charges, Stolen Shopping Cart and Forgery

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from July 7-9.
Sunday, July 7
- 8:50 p.m. Report of forgery at the Sovereign Bank on Maple Street. No further details were available.
- 9 p.m. Report of power outages on Robin Hill Road.
Monday, July 8
- 10:21 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident involving personal injuries on Route 128 North at the Elliott Street exit. Police said two cars were involved.
- 1:38 p.m. Report of a drug charges at or outside Pete's-A-Place on Pine Street. No further details were available.
- 5:40 p.m. Report of a stolen shopping cart from the Stop & Shop on Route 1. Police checked the area, but were unable to find it.
Tuesday, July 9
- 8:30 a.m. James Johnson, 35, of 17 Gardner St., Peabody, was arrested on a warrant.
- 9:04 a.m. Report of a liquor law violation involving an open container of alcohol at or near the Dunkin' Donuts at 153 Endicott St. Police checked the area, but didn't find anyone.
- 10:59 a.m. A caller reported a pedestrian was possibly hit at the corner of Federal and Sylvan streets. Police didn't find anyone.
