Ducklings Saved From Route 1 Storm Drain

Danvers firefighters and Department of Public Works workers saved ducklings that fell into a storm drain on Monday morning.

WCVB reported that someone saw the mother duck quacking near a storm drain on Route 1. A public works forearm climbed into the drain and rescued them with a pool skimmer that he borrowed from Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies.
