DANVERS, MA — Remember that road turned into a river Wednesday on Constitution Lane? Well, the DPW was back at it Thursday with an emergency water shut off at 11 a.m. to repair a valve. This time the work was near Route 62 at Elliot Street between Conant and Liberty streets.
The bad news: DPW said it would take a minimum of six hours of no water in the area to get the repair done. The good news? Well, depending on where you live, only about 28 homes will be impacted by the water shut off.
The Update? By 4:15 p.m. DPW announced the all clear an hour before their earliest estimate.
