Danvers will hold a weekend long recycling event in the Elm Street Parking Lot across from Town Hall. Clothing, shoes, linens, books and electronics will be collected by Big Brother Big Sister Foundation; books, VHS tapes, CDs, DVDs, audio books and records will be collected by Got Books; and metal will be collected by the DPW. Paper shredding will be offered by ProShred on SATURDAY ONLY. Danvers Residents only.
Compost Bins ($30) and Rain Barrels ($30) will also be available for on-site purchase by residents with a check made out to the Town of Danvers. No cash accepted. Limited number, first-come, first-served, no pre-orders.
