St. John’s Prep will hold its annual Martin Luther King Dinner on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. Lynn resident Nancy Sacco, a member of the school counseling staff, will be honored during the evening for her work to promote equity and social justice. Members of the public are welcome to attend the dinner, which will be held in Memorial Dining Hall on the school campus at 72 Spring St.
Sacco has played an influential role in diversity awareness and education programs at St. John’s. She joined the school counseling staff in 1998.
The cost of the evening is $10 per person. The program will include dinner, remarks by student speakers, and music by the St. John’s Prep Jazz Combo. Tickets may be purchased at www.stjohnsprep.org/mlkdinner. Changes in the event of poor weather will be posted at www.stjohnsprep.org.
