Networking Group for Job Seekers

A Day in the Life of an Employment Recruiter

Janet Swaysland, Network Partner at Human 1.0
will address the Friday February 17 meeting of the Networking Group for Jobseekers from 10:30 a.m. until noon in the Gordon Meeting Room at the Peabody Institute Library, Danvers.

Janet will focus on how recruiters receive job leads, what recruiters are looking for in candidates, including why some candidates may be included or excluded. She will also address the pressures placed on the recruiter to find the “right” match for a position and strategies a job seeker can employ to maximize their chances of being  interviewed and selected as “best fit” by a recruiter for a position.

The Networking Group for Jobseekers is a partnership effort of the Peabody Institute Library and the North Shore Career Centers. The meeting is open to the public. Participants are asked to contact the Reference Desk at the library to pre-register. For more information, please call 978 774-0554.
