NSCC's Law Day

North Shore Community College invites the public to its annual Law Day Lecture Thursday, May 3, 7:30a.m., at NSCC's Danvers Campus, 1 Ferncroft Road, in the Math and Sciences building lecture hall, DS119,

This year's speaker is the Honorable Paula M. Carey, Chief Justice of Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. Chief Justice Carey served as Associate Justice of the Norfolk Probate and Family Court prior to her current appointment and previously practiced domestic relations law. Judge Carey has lectured and authored material for numerous educational programs in the area of domestic relations, both as a practitioner and as a judge. She has received numerous awards in judicial excellence.

In addition, this year's Law Day program will feature the reading of winning essays submitted in an essay contest sponsored by NSCC on the theme of "No courts, no justice, no freedom". The winning entry from an NSCC student will be read, as well as the winning essay submitted from entries from Marshall Middle School students.
