Families To Get 'First Peek' At New Smith Elementary School
Families of most students can take a look at the Danvers school on Aug. 30 with a grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony set for Sept. 25.
DANVERS, MA — The Smith Elementary School in Danvers will open to students next month with families of those students being among the first to get a sneak peek at the new building.
Families of tho students in grades 1 through 5 will be able to tour the school with their students on Aug. 30, with kindergarten family tours set for Sept. 1.
Schools open in Danvers for most students on Sept. 9.

Grade 1 tours will be 8:30 to 9:15 a.m., Grade 2 tours will be 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., Grade 3 tours will be 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., Grade 4 tours will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and Grade 5 tours will be 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 30.
The kindergarten family sneak peek will be 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 on Sept. 1.
