Get Ready To Twist Again: Chubby Checker Returns To 208th Topsfield Fair

TOPSFIELD, MA — Music icon Chubby Checker is set to bring the twist back to the Topsfield Fair as the legendary performer takes to the Grandstand Stage for a show that is free with festival admission.

Checker will perform on Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. The 208th Topsfield Fair will be held Oct. 2-12.

Checker's long list of hit songs includes "The Twist," "Let's Twist Again," and "Limbo Rock."

"It's been four years since Chubby Checker performed at the Fair, and I'm very glad he is able to be back with us again," said James O’Brien, Topsfield Fair General Manager. "You won't want to miss your opportunity to see this legendary performer live."

Admission to the 2026 Topsfield Fair is $20 per person each day. Discount admission tickets are available online through Oct. 1, 2026, for $15 plus a $3 convenience fee.

Those discounted tickets can be used on any day during the fair’s 11-day run. A three-day pass, valid for any three days of the fair, is also available for $42 plus a $3 convenience fee. Children under 8 are admitted free with an adult admission ticket.
