DANVERS, MA — The Color Blaster — a paintbrush that allows for the use of all the primary colors in one brush, making it more convenient and easier to clean up — was the winning ticket for the Great Oak Elementary School "Baby Sharks" team in Tuesday night's battle of the Danvers elementary schools.

Three members of the Danvers High School DECA program organized the event that began with fourth-grade teams from each of the elementary schools going through a seven-week program before a competition to select the top two from each school to go on to Tuesday night's townwide showdown.

More than 200 parents, families and friends showed up in the middle school auditorium to hear the pitches with the Great Oak team of Kenzie Coleman, Luiza da Silva Muniz, Cameron Tat, Brady Trupiano and Ava Maples coming up with the winning design and pitch for The Color Blaster.
