1. 'ANNIE'
Where/When: Temple B'nai Abraham, Beverly; Saturday, 8 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Why Go: Neverland Theater puts on the classic production, Annie, this weekend and net weekend on stage at Temple B'Nai Abraham.

2. YARD SALE
Where/When: Winthrop Elementary School, Hamilton; Saturday, 8 a.m.-noon
Why Go: Get your weekend started by snagging some springtime deals at this yard sale to benefit the Friends of Winthrop School.

3. ESSEX AGGIE GROOM-A-THON
Where/When: Essex Agricultural & Technical Institute, Danvers; Saturday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Why Go: The Class of 2014 will be hosting a dog groom-a-thon at Essex Aggie's grooming lab where they will be offering a variety of grooming services including baths and clipping nails.
Pricing: $5-$45
4. MOMMY'S NIGHT OUT AT THE REC
Where/When: Recreational Education Center, Peabody; Friday, 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: The Recreational Education Center invites mothers to take a break Friday night and join the semi-annual event, which features various vendors, wine, appetizers and raffles.
Pricing: $10
5. NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS YOUTH ORCHESTRAS AFTERNOON OF CONCERTS
Where/When: A.J. Gordon Chapel, Gordon College, Wenham; Sunday, 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: See some of the best youth musicians in the region perform in two separate free Sunday afternoon concerts. The Prelude and Overture String Ensemble, Intermezzo Orchestra, Junior Flute Choir and Flute Choir will perform at 2:30 p.m. and the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Select Flute Choir will perform at 5 p.m.
