“We did a fundraiser with The Brain Maes Band last year and it was a huge success,” said Hockey Boosters President Eileen Ganley. “It is a great social night out for parents with incredible live music, dancing, h’ors d’oeuvres and two 50/50 raffleswhich all help the High School Hockey program to raise needed funds for equipment and ice time.”
The Brian Maes Band will play a number of songs from their CD: Collateral Damage. Their latest project is a rock opera:The Devil and Billy Shake which is currently playing throughout the North Shore. The Brian Maes Band has toured and recorded with bands such as The J. Geils Band, Pat Benatar, and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. Special guests for the evening will be Danvers High Varsity Hockey Player Erik D’Orlando on the keys, Rachele DiFava on vocals and JoeWinslow on flute.
