K9 Stryka Lends a Paw in Chelmsford, Tracks Down Robbery Suspect

Danvers, MA - Danvers K9 Stryka was really able to put his training to good use on Friday afternoon.

Stryka apprehended a bank robbery suspect in Chelmsford on Friday afternoon while Stryka and Officer Justin Ellenton were in the area for a NEMLEC SWAT training class in Bedford.

A pair of alleged robbers hit the Citizens Bank in the Stop and Shop in Chelmsford on Friday morning.

Ellenton and Stryka responded to assist with the search, and Stryka located one of the suspects after searching a swamp.

This was Stryka's first apprehension.
