Kindergarten Registration in Danvers

Kindergarten Registration 2015-2016

Centralized Kindergarten registration will take place during the week of Jan. 26 through Jan. 30 in the Gordon Room, Peabody Institute Library, 1 Sylvan Street, Danvers. The registration packet may be obtained online at danverspublicschools.org, under Resources.

Copies will be available at the library during registration. Parents must personally bring the paperwork to the registration. A school nurse and secretary will be available to assist with questions at the library.

Two evening registrations will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 and Thursday, Jan. 29.

If you are unable to attend the registration, parents may bring the completed paperwork to any elementary school after Feb. 1. Registration does not guarantee placement at a particular school.

Danvers offers full-day kindergarten for all students.

Orientation Meeting

An Orientation Meeting for parents will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 in the auditorium, Danvers High School. At that time, our teachers and administration will present parents with specific information about the academic and social curriculum of kindergarten.

School assignments for Kindergarteners will be given at the April 8 meeting.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 28: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 29: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 30: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
