With the win, Danvers improved to 9-2-1 overall and qualified for the state tournament for the 22nd straight year. "Qualifying was our # 1 goal coming into this year. It's great that we got in and we still have 6 games remaining."

Senior Captain Corey Persson collected 3 goals on the night.  The third of the night was her 100th career goal for Danvers.  She currently has 14 goals and 6 assists this year.  "That's a fantastic milestone for any player.  Corey has been extremely reliable up front for us for the past 4 years.  She has been a major reason for our success.  When we've needed a big goal, she's come through for the team.  She's a natural goal scorer."

Delaney Zecha added the other goal assisted by Emily Behen. Alex Strangie, Kylie Plaza and Courtney Arnoldy assisted on the Persson goals. "Kylie Plaza had a fantastic game for us.  She never stops working on the field."  Coach Hinchion also liked the play of junior Meghan Kenny and sophomore Delaney Zecha at midfield tonight.

The Falcons traveled to Bishop Fenwick last night at 6:30 p.m.
