Lawrence Woman Charged With OUI; Shoplifter Tries to Grab TV

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from May 25-26.

Saturday, May 25

• 4:35 a.m. Miguelina Baez, 33, of Lawrence, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 114. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation and a number plate violation.
• 10:11 a.m. Report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle at Avalon Danvers on Kirkbride Drive. Police said a tire was slashed.
• 4:10 p.m. An officer recovered a needle found at Danvers High School.
• 7:23 p.m. Report of an intoxicated person inside the CVS in Danvers Square. Police said the person was spoken to.
• 11:51 p.m. Katlyn Bergendahl, 26, of 102 Newbury St., Danvers, was arrested, following a report of a domestic dispute at the Extended Stay Hotel. She was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

Sunday, May 26

• 8:27 a.m. Report of credit card fraud at Kohl's. Police said a credit card was stolen.
• 4:03 p.m. Andrew Finlay, 27, of Melrose, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifter trying to steal a TV at Walmart. He was charged on one count of shoplifting.
