'Loud Island Music' and Man Asking Strange Questions at Jewelers

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from July 5-7.
Friday, July 5
- 7:47 p.m. Report of a male at Kay Jewelers asking strange questions.
- 9:57 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injuries on Route 128 South. Police said medical attention was declined.
Saturday, July 6
- 2:57 p.m. The Harbormaster assisted with a boat taking on water in the Crane River.
- 5:28 p.m. Sean Brooks, 37, of 179 Boston St., Salem, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Water and Mill streets.
- 8:43 p.m. Report of someone playing loud "island" music at Ira Lexus on Route 114 and disturbing the peace.
- 8:58 p.m. Report of a shoplifting incident at Claire's Boutique at the mall.
- 9:54 p.m. Police responded to an alarm at BJ's and said there was a theft of a television.
- 10:11 p.m. Report of a stolen cell phone case at Walmart.
- 11:19 p.m. A caller reported there were a lot of fireworks in the area of Algonquin Road.
Sunday, July 7
- 12:01 p.m. Report of slashed car tires at a Kirkdrive Drive apartment.
- 12:53 p.m. Report of malicious damage at Popes Landing. Police said some signs were knocked down.
- 4:07 p.m. Brian Hobbs, 26, of 143 High St., Danvers, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Canal and High streets. He was charged with not having a number plate sticker displayed and driving with a suspended license.
