Lynn Man Arrested in Danvers Faces Prostitution Charges

Trevor Jones previously served seven years in prison for forcing women into prostitution.

DANVERS, MA — A Lynn man who was previously spent time in prison for prostitution charges was back in court for trying to go back to his old act, police said.

Trevor Jones, 38, was arrested last week outside the Danvers Econolodge on Endicott Street. He pleaded not guilty to deriving support from prostitution during is arraignment, according to the Salem News.

On July 18, police received a 911 call from the motel. When an officer arrived, he saw Jones in a car with a woman later identified as his fiancée by the defense and a former victim by a prosecutor.

The victim told police that she was forced to have sex for money and give most of the money to Jones, who she said was fighting heroin addiction. When she said she wanted to stop, the victim said Jones threaten to kill her.

Jones' lawyer argued that his client was not involved with the arrangement.

In 2006, Jones was arrested in Andover for deriving support from prostitution. He pleaded guilty in 2008 and was sentenced to serve time in prison. Shortly after his release, he served two years in jail for a probation violation.

Jones is due back in court on Aug. 18 for a probably cause hearing.
