Male Found Walking in His Underwear Tells Police He Did Crystal Meth
The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from April 17-19.
Wednesday, April 17
- 7:42 a.m. Ernesto Gaitan, 37, of 52 Howard St., Lynn, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Locust and Poplar streets. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked registration and in an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
- 12:24 p.m. An officer reported checking Sandy Beach and finding a wine bottle and trash bag.
- 2:26 p.m. Police responded to a report of someone stealing electricity at a Franklin Street residence.
- 2:31 p.m. Police received a report of malicious damage at an Elliott Street home. A screen door was broken.
- 6 p.m. Report of identity theft from a Burley Street resident.
Thursday, April 18
- 1:20 a.m. Scott Booth, 41, of 8 Putnam St., Danvers, was arrested at his residence, following a report of a domestic dispute. He was charged with domestic assault and battery.
- 2:47 a.m. Earl Martin, 30, of 49 Collins Street Ter., Lynn, was arrested on a trial court warrant at Motel 6.
- 5:37 a.m. Report of a car break-in on Wenham Street.
- 5:41 a.m. Report of another car break-in on Wenham Street.
- 10:40 a.m. Report of a larceny at Motel 6. Police said some property was stolen.
- 6:02 p.m. Report of an attempted larceny on Endicott Street. Police said the ignition of a motor vehicle was popped.
- 6:14 p.m. Report of a car break-in on Cedar Hill Drive. A purse and camera were stolen.
- 6:51 p.m. Police chased a stolen blue minivan from the Liberty Tree Mall to I-95. See related story.
- 7:01 p.m. Report of a larceny from Boston Beauty Supply at the mall.
- 8:05 p.m. Report of a car into a fire hydrant on Colgate Street. One person complained of neck pain.
- 8:07 p.m. Paul Burns, 21, of Quincy, was arrested, following a report of a suspicious person at Kohl's. He was charged with larceny over $250.
Friday, April 19
- 3:01 a.m. Officer John Melto reported he came across a suspicious looking male outside Berry Hall at Essex Agricultural & Technical School. He said the male was walking along the sidewalk wearing nothing else but his underwear. He told Melto he had done crystal methamphetamine. The man did not have any drugs on him and was not arrested.
- 6:02 a.m. Report of a car break-in on Northshore Avenue. The owner wasn't sure if anything was taken.
- 7:02 a.m. Sandy Ramirez, 30, of 2 Smidt Ave., Peabody, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Liberty Street. Ramirez was charged with driving with a suspended license, no valid inspection sticker and having an altered exhaust.
- 7:14 a.m. Report of a car break-in on Hussey Avenue.
- 8:35 a.m. Report of another car break-in on Northshore Avenue.
- 9:21 a.m. Nicholas Meserve, 20, of 18 Buxton Rd., Danvers, was arrested, following a report of a possible intoxicated person on Route 114 at the Middleton line. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
- 9:37 a.m. Report of another overnight car break-in on Northshore Avenue.
- 10:39 a.m. Report of a suspicious pack at the corner of Tipert Street and Walter Road. Police said someone left a backpack there.
- 11:45 a.m. Police received a report of a suspicious person at the RMV at the mall. The person was described as a young male with shaggy hair.
- 12:51 p.m. Report of a suspicious pack at DiLuigi Sausage Company on Popes Lane. Police said there was a black backpack there.
- 1:23 p.m. Stephanie Morrison, 22, of Malden, was arrested, following a report of a larceny at Walmart (sandals and sunglasses). She was charged with one count of shoplifting.
- 1:48 p.m. Chad Leblanc, 34, of Melrose, was arrested, following a report of a larceny at East Coast Alpine on Endicott Street. He was charged with larceny over $250. Police said $500 worth of merchandise was stolen.
- 2:56 p.m. Report of a suspicios person -- a male with a white cap -- in the woods off Route 114 at the Middleton town line. Police said the sighting was unfounded.
- 4:16 p.m. A Bradford Road resident reported credit card fraud.
