Mattress Sale Raises $10K for Danvers High Band
Do you drive the high school last weekend and see the kids wearing mattress covers?
If you drove by the high school last weekend, very likely you were approached by some excited teens wearing mattress covers and trying to convince you to stop and buy a mattress.
The Danvers High School Marching Band held its first annual mattress sale fundraiser on April 27, offering 30-60 percent off retail prices. The showroom was set up inside the Vye Gym all day long with brand name mattress sets for sale via Custom Fundraising Solutions.
The band reports 83 new mattress sets were sold for the day and in return, the band received a check for $10,075 from CFS.
