Natalie Jacobson To Give Keynote Speech At North Shore Chamber Event
The longtime Channel 5 anchor will talk about her new book "Every Life A Story: Natalie Jacobson Reporting."

DANVERS, MA — Natalie Jacobson was the friendly, compassionate and informative face of local news on Channel 5 for many Greater Boston residents for 35 years.
The longtime and now-retired anchor will share some of her experiences and memories from her new book "Every Life A Story: Natalie Jacobson Reporting" when she is featured as the keynote speaker at the North Shore Chamber of Commerce's "Thrive" initiative luncheon on Sept. 22.
The Thrive initiative of the North Shore Chamber is aimed at empowering women at all stages of their careers to succeed both personally and professionally.

The luncheon will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spinelli's on Route 1 in Lynnfield when Jacobson will share her story of growing from an immigrant childhood in Chicago to becoming "The First Woman of Boston News" in Greater Boston.
Jacobson joined WCVB-TV in 1972 and was a co-anchor of the station's evening news for decades. She earned several Emmys and was honored with the Governor's Award, the highest award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Radio and Television News Directors Association.

Jacobson will be available for book signings following the program.
The event opens at 11:30 a.m. with registration and lunch. The program begins at noon. Admission is $55 for Chamber members and $75 for nonmembers. Registration is required.
