North Shore Chamber Names 6 Diamond Award Recipients

The six women chosen for the inaugural impact awards were from Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, Swampscott and Rowley.

DANVERS, MA — The North Shore Chamber of Commerce named the six recipients of its inaugural Diamond Awards honoring women who demonstrate a commitment and passion for leading with purpose, empowering women, serving others and making an impact in the region.

The Chamber said it received numerous nominations with recipients coming from Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, Rowley and Swampscott.

The honorees are:

  • Judy Cranney, of Beverly, vice president and chief operating officer of Care Dimensions, based in Danvers
  • Laura Kurzrok, of Marblehead, community advocate and retired executive director of Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation
  • Hannah Ginley, of Marblehead, chief people officer of Windover Construction, based in Beverly
  • Nancy Palmer, of Danvers, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Northeast Hospital Corporation, which operates Beverly and Addison Gilbert, Gloucester hospitals
  • Jo Ann Simons, of Swampscott, president and chief executive officer of Northeast Arc, based in Danvers
  • Sara Stanley, of Rowley, executive director of Healing Abuse Working for Change (HAWC), based in Salem

The North Shore Chamber will honor the winners at a Diamond Awards Breakfast on Sept. 21 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Kernwood Country Club in Salem. The public is invited with tickets $45 for members and $65 for nonmembers.

The Chamber of Commerce will also profile the recipients in the September issue of its Impact Magazine.

The North Shore Chamber represents 34 communities in the region with a goal to advocate, educate and collaborate to ensure the success of its member business.
