Northeast Arc Elects Six To Board of Directors

Community Members Guide Growth of Nation's Second Largest Arc

The Northeast Arc, a not-for-profit organization that helps children and adults with disabilities become full participants in the community, has elected six new members to its Board of Directors.

The new members, sworn in at the Northeast Arc’s board at the organization’s 64th Annual Meeting held on June 8, 2018, are:

  • Heidi Ellard of Boxford, Business and Community Affairs Professional
  • Tom Gould of Peabody, Owner of Treadwell’s Ice Cream
  • Martha Holden of Peabody, Director of Planning, Development and Community Relations, Holden Oil
  • David Munroe of Gloucester, Marketing Director, North Shore Bank
  • Pamela Newport of Boxford, Tech Marketing and Public Relations Professional
  • Elizabeth (Beth) Tauro of Marblehead, Planning Outreach and Engagement Director, Combined Jewish Philanthropies

“We are very happy that Heidi, Tom, Martha, David, Pamela and Beth have joined our board of directors,” said Darcy Immerman, Board Chair, Northeast Arc. “The Northeast Arc has done a tremendous job supporting people with disabilities and their families for the last 64 years and I’m confident these six individuals, along with our returning board members, will be instrumental in continuing to steer the growth of the organization.”
