Obituary: Pearl V. (Watts) Russell, Lifelong Danvers Resident

Pearl V. (Watts) Russell, 91, died on Saturday, September 27, 2014 in the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Carroll “Russ” Russell, with whom she shared more than fifty years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on Feb. 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Lillian (Houghton) Watts. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School.

Mrs. Russell was employed for many years at Hotwatt in Danvers Square and was a member of the Holy Trinity United Methodist Church.
A longtime Danvers resident, she enjoyed boating and camping on Lake Winnipesaukee.
She leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Hazel Wallace, Dorothy Fatello, and Gladys, Rupert, Raymond, and Kenneth Watts.
Her Graveside service will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 1PM in Holten Cemetery, Holten Street, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl’s memory to the Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
