• New orange trailers are watching Mass. highways for wrong-way drivers (masslive.com) — New mobile wrong‑way detection trailers are being rolled out on Massachusetts highways as part of a broader safety push inspired partly by a trooper formerly assigned to the State Police barracks in Danvers who was killed by a wrong‑way driver. The program combines portable radar‑equipped trailers, hundreds of permanent detection systems, roadway design upgrades, and new education and training requirements to reduce deadly crashes.
