• 'We grieved, they grieved': Marblehead falls to St. Mary's in return to gridiron (bostonherald.com) — Marblehead's football team returned to the field in Lynn after canceling last week's scheduled game against Danvers following the sudden death of senior captain Owen Coyne. In an emotional night, host St. Mary's honored Coyne with donations, helmet decals, and fan tributes before earning a 30-14 win, while both communities continued processing the loss that had already disrupted Danvers' own schedule.
