Patient Arrested After Locking Himself in Doctor's Bathroom for Hours
The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Peabody police arrested a Danvers man Thursday afternoon after he locked himself in his doctor's office bathroom for more than two hours.
Police received a call at 3:57 p.m. from a caller at Sports Medicine North (behind the Northshore Mall) informing them of the patient's location since approximately 1:45 p.m. that afternoon.
Derek Armand, 33, of 3 Baldwin Rd., Danvers, was then arrested, but it was unclear if it was related to his self-imposed shut-in or not.
