Peabody Man Charged With Trying To Rob Danvers McDonald's
Ryan Hussein, 25, was arrested Sunday morning after attempting to rob the McDonald's on Route 114, according to state police.

DANVERS, MA — A Peabody man was arrested after allegedly being involved in an armed robbery in Danvers, police said.
Ryan Hussein, 25, was arrested Sunday morning after attempting to rob the McDonald's on Route 114, according to the Massachusetts State Police. He allegedly fled the scene after stating that he had a gun and showed a screwdriver, according to scanner reports.

After fleeing, Hussein crashed his vehicle on Route 1 North at the Ferncroft Rotary in Danvers. He was located near the wood line behind a nearby Motel 6 by state police at about 11:30 a.m. and taken into custody near Route 1, state police said.

During the search with Danvers police, state police used a K9 unit and an Airwing.
Custody of Hussein was then transferred to the Danvers Police Department.
