People's United Foundation Awards $10,000 in Scholarship Money to Danvers High Graduates
People's United Foundation awarded ten Danvers High School graduates with $1,000 toward the cost of their first year at college.

Danvers, MA — People’s United Community Foundation of Eastern Massachusetts Board Member and its Massachusetts Bank President Patrick Sullivan recently awarded ten Danvers High School graduates with $1,000 each toward the cost of their first year at college.
The students were chosen by the high school based on need and academic achievement, in what has become an annual tradition of scholarship donations from the foundation.
Seven of the recipients this year are shown in the attached photo with People’s United Bank Massachusetts President, Patrick Sullivan. They are (l-r): Tyler Butrica, attending Hofstra University; Trevor Chasse, attending University of Arizona; Melissa Dieter, attending Utah Valley University; Brian Vaughan attending University of Massachusetts, Lowell; Patrick Sullivan; Erin Haley attending Emmanuel College; Carly Tarricone attending New York University; and Sean Gibbons attending Fitchburg State University. Missing from the photo are Kellie Condon attending Providence College; James Curley attending University of New Hampshire; and Stephen Ganley attending University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

“We are pleased to support students, ultimately investing in our future leaders and community advocates,” said Sullivan. “People’s United Bank and the foundation are proud to be members of the community with more than 80 employees in Danvers, many of whom have worked with local students through our Reality Check program as well as other volunteer opportunities.”
People’s United Community Foundation has donated over $80,000 in scholarship money to graduates of Danvers High School to help defray the cost of their college educations.
