Police Investigate Report of Escort Services Offered at Motel

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from March 29-31.

Friday, March 29

  • 6:21 p.m. Keith Kronmiller, 32, of 1122 Adam St., Boston, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifting at Kohl's. He was charged with shoplifting (third offense). Police said a pair of Nike shoes were stolen and Kronmiller also had two warrants out for his arrest from Suffolk Superior Court and South Boston District Court.
  • 6:46 p.m. A 51-year-old Lynn woman was issued a court summons for shoplifting, following a report of a shoplifting at Best Buy. Police said an Mp3 player and headphones were stolen.
  • 7:02 p.m. Police received a report of a past break-in attempt at a Poplar Street apartment. No further details were available.
  • 8:42 p.m. Police received a report of a shoplifting incident at Best Buy. Police said five juveniles were involved, but their parents then paid for the merchandise and no charges were filed.

Saturday, March 30

  • 7:20 a.m. Police received a report of a suspicious male and female in a laundry room at Motel 6. No further details were available.
  • 8:45 a.m. Police received a report of a stolen cell phone at the Danversport Yacht Club.
  • 3:21 p.m. Police received a report of illegal activities at Motel 6. Police said there was post online about escort services being offered. The matter is under investigation.
  • 9:59 p.m. Report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle at Rand Circle. No further details were available.
  • 11:29 p.m. Police received a report of an intoxicated female knocking on someone's door on Linden Drive. Police said the female -- a 17-year-old from Boxford -- was then found waiting for a ride, but taken into protective custody instead.

Sunday, March 31

  • 2:19 a.m. Christopher Rice, 40, of 412 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Endicott Street. He was charged with driving with a suspended license.
  • 5:57 a.m. Police received a report of a break-in at Townsend Oil on Cherry Street. Police said the door was found open and the doorframe was broken, but nothing appeared to be missing.
  • 9:51 a.m. A caller on Bay View Avenue reported malicious damage. Police said a wooden fence was damaged.
